Dear Ms. Nelson,

On behalf of all members of the Brisbane City Council, I would like to express my appreciation for your generosity. Subject: Season Menu

Dear Development Team,

As you are already aware, summer is approaching, meaning it’s time for you to come up with a new seasonal item. I am not trying to pressure you, but the expectations for this year are high as the market response to last year’s menu was outstanding. However, in the hope of lessening the burden, we conducted surveys in our stores in which we inquired our customers of their preference for the next seasonal drink.

We have sorted out the responses and compiled a list which I attached below. Now, I ask you to produce recipes for the flavors on the list. We will collect feedbacks from customers at the flagship store and the company officials after providing them samples. We will add up the scores, and with the one that has the highest rating, we will proceed the project.

I hope this year’s item becomes another hit. I am positive that I can count on you.

Submissions

The Color Max will be redesigned and rearranged of its features in order to meet the trends readers seek. There will be a new section in which we will accept submissions from our members to be appeared in the magazines. The new section will be called APA Wall, and we will ask our members to submit us pictures that matches the theme that will change monthly. We believe that this is a way to communicate with our readers and make ourselves known not only as a publishing group but also as an association of qualified photographers.

The magazine is already undergoing the changes, and we now invite our members to submit their works. The first theme is Beginning. We are extremely excited to receive your submissions.

All submissions should be sent to Amanda Shigeoka at [email protected] with brief description of the photograph. They will be accepted until December 8.

The board will be picking out 8 pictures from the submissions to be published in the January Color Max. Photographers of the selected works will be individually informed of the results on December 10. They will also be revealed in two weeks in this periodical announcement.

Dear Mr. Francis,

The board members truly appreciate your submission. On behalf of all of us, I would like to tell you that we are enthralled by it and would love to publish it in Color Max. We believe that you well caught the drift of the theme as your picture is one of your very first works.

The only thing I ask you now is to write a 200-word paragraph describing yourself, for example, about your career or passion. Then after it goes through a simple editing stage, it will be published along with your picture.

Sincerely.

Amanda Shigeoka

Bill’s Furniture Market

Dear Customers,

After 17 years of serving customers in Hoboken, Bill’s Furniture Market will be closing a business on August 18. Until then, we will be selling all products in our inventory at 60 percent of the original prices.

Nextwood, the furniture supplier of Bill’s, in fact owned by my brother, will now be manufacturing products to be sold at another location to be open within the coming months.

It has been an honor to serve you all.

Sincerely,

Bill Bassett, owner

House & Office

I have been a regular at Bill’s Furniture Market for more than a decade before it closed in August. However, I was told that the furniture produced by the same manufacturer as Bill’s is being sold here at House & Office, so as soon as this place opened in the Easthampton Mall, I visited and got myself a foldable couch to place in my living room. I felt that the service was excellent as the sales staff were attentive and gave detailed descriptions for each item. The couch is so comfortable and has been well used over the last week. I’ll be recommending many family and friends.

New Facility Attracts Visitors

Easthampton Mall since it first opened in June, has been visited by more than 150,000 people, according to its officials. As it settles in the city as a landmark, the expectations of the citizens become higher as they hope that the facility revitalize the city’s economy.

The mall now prides itself with over 70 stores, breaking the revenue record on a daily basis. However, there is the barely recognized problem that the commercial development is bringing to the city. We are paying attention on this issue because it is affecting small stores or restaurants usually operated by families as customers flock to the new landmark. Harry’s Diner, Bill’s Furniture Market and Easthampton Music Store, all had been in business for over fifteen years, have closed.

Mayor Sabrina Beal, however, believes that the concerns over the mall is only natural and thinks positively of the changes. Changes always have pros and cons,” she said. But I can confidently say that the pros far exceed the cons in this very case

191.
Why most likely is Bill's Furniture Market being closed?
A. It is not profitable anymore.
B. The owner will open a new business.
C. The owner wants to retire.
D. The costs of materials rose too much.

The Miami Auditorium presents

Global Gathering

By Manila Philharmonic

September 2-4

Manila Philharmonic, regularly considered one of the finest orchestras in the world, are based in Manila, Philippines. Music enthusiasts in Florida have the chance to witness them here at the Miami Auditorium. The three-hour show will be packed with songs never before performed live.

The theme of their upcoming concert, Global Gathering, features traditional songs and national anthems of various countries around the world, from Philippines to Kenya, in the distinctive style that the philharmonic orchestra is known for. Each song has been rearranged by the conductor of the ensemble, Ronald Yugawa. For the first time, the orchestra will collaborate with international musicians whose names have not been revealed yet.

Tickets should be purchased online beforehand to be picked up at the ticket booth upon entrance. $70 per person.

Ronald Yugawa will be in town on August 31 and spare time to discuss his career and more information about the concert.

From: Aker Bernstein

To: Ronald Yugawa

Subject: soundtracks

Date: September 11

Dear Mr. Yugawa,

I had the pleasure to attend the concert your ensemble recently held in Miami, and to have the chance to converse with you at the conference prior to the show.

I direct the process of putting music in films produced by Vancouver Pictures and currently working on a movie to be released in December. As a sound designer, I am seeking an orchestra to record a few soundtracks to be used in the film. As Vancouver Pictures acknowledges the prestige of Manila Philharmonic, we are prepared to offer a handsome compensation.

If you would consider accepting the proposal, please contact me. We are willing to send a representative to Manila to discuss in detail of the movie and your responsibility.

Sincerely,

Alex Bernstein

Re: soundtracks

Dear Mr Bernstein,

After discussing with the members of our Orchestra, it turns out that we all are thinking positively of the opportunity. I would like to talk to hear more about it. In fact, we are travelling to Seattle later this month, so we could perhaps meet there since that will be a much more convenient place for you.

Dear Mr.

Dear Mr Bernstein,

After discussing with the members of our Orchestra, it turns out that we all are thinking positively of the opportunity. I would like to talk to hear more about it. In fact, we are travelling to Seattle later this month, so we could perhaps meet there since that will be a much more convenient place for you.
